Once upon a time…

Once upon a time, two universes collided… Sal Caltabiano was the first person ever to invite me into a studio to create and co-create… me at the ripe old age of 15, when he was in his early twenties. It was the first time I ever got to multitrack. For years, he and I sweated and wrote and charted pan schemes on paper before recording… played and sang and recorded and recorded and fought and recorded – on each other’s stuff, and on stuff for others. It was a very intense time of creation, and we made wonderful music together. Shortly thereafter, we parted ways. We were able to reconnect over the past 15 years, and when we did, we were just love brothers from afar.
I just got word that he passed, and I’m just devastated – we had always talked about seeing each other again.
